Alpenglow reels are handmade in the spirit and tradition of classic fly fishing. These simple but sturdy click and paw reels are made from bar stock aluminum, polished bright with side plates anodized black. When you buy a rod and reel combo I hand turn on a lathe a wood handle that will match the reel seat spacer and hand craft a reel case to match the rods case as well. I recommend adding small felt pads to the underside of reel foot to protect from scratches to reel seat spacer on all of my rods. The reels are engraved with my logo after I assemble them. Add another week before delivery for your name to be personalized on the backing plate as well.
