Over the few past months i've been working on a Quadrate rod that has the metric of a 5wt taper but because of the ammonium toning process these rods come out as a 6/7wt. This rod i'm giving away to a lucky fly fisher next week! Its 8'1" dressed in bright nickel silver with antique gold and java silk wraps. It will be great for summer or spring steelhead fishing on the Trinity River or casting to migratory Brown trout on the McCloud River or big rising Rainbows on the Fall River in Nor Cal.
